Getting the current date, time, year, month, and day made simple with the predefined functions of the JavaScript. You can get the functions with this snippet.

time.js

const date = new Date().getDate(); //returns current date

const day = new Date().getDay();
const days = [
    "Sunday",
    "Monday",
    "Tuesday",
    "Wednesday",
    "Thursday",
    "Friday",
    "Saturday",
  ];
days[day];
// returns current day

const year = new Date().getFullYear(); //returns current year

const month = new Date().getMonth()+1; 
// we can get the month in the form of number, so to get correct number we have to add 1 since in js the arrays are zero(0) indexed elements.

const hrs = new Date().getHours();
// returns the number of hours till time

const minutes = new Date().getMinutes();
//returns the number of minutes till time
