Generalised syntax to write clean & reusable mixins in sass

@mixin directive in the scss framework helps to define browser compatible & reusable mixins globally at the base level which can be used all over the site.

_mixn.scss

@mixin border-radius($radius) {
  -webkit-border-radius: $radius;
     -moz-border-radius: $radius;
      -ms-border-radius: $radius;
          border-radius: $radius;
}
@mixin flex($direction: row, $justify: flex-start, $align: flex-start) {
  display: flex;
  flex-direction: $direction;
  justify-content: $justify;
  align-items: $align;
}
@mixin margin($top, $right, $bottom, $left) {
  margin-top: $top;
  margin-right: $right;
  margin-bottom: $bottom;
  margin-left: $left;
}

_header.scss

//example and how to use above mixins
.box {
  @include border-radius(5px);
  @include margin(10px, 20px, 30px, 40px);
}

}
